18th Annual P&T Competition - Local

Feb 1st, 2018 - Last Thursday, Rutgers University's AMCP Student Chapter had their local annual P&T competition to decide which group would go compete nationally. The teams have been working on their presentations since the release of the drug, Xultophy, back in November 2017. Each group has done their research on the pathophysiology and clinical impact Xultophy would have on the patient population. After reading and interpreting the available research and trial data, the teams came to their own formulary decisions.
Their final analysis were compiled and presented before a panel of 9 PharmD's with an extensive knowledge about diabetes and managed care.

Congratulations to Team 1 for getting 1st place. Soham Shukla, Brianna Devitt, Nihal Narsipur, and Hannah Lee will go to Boston to represent Rutgers School of Pharmacy at the national P&T competition. Thank you to each of the judges for attending.
